Hauppauge Eagles Boys K/1 Team Soars to Victory with Impressive Performance
The Hauppauge Eagles Boys K/1 team secured their first win of the season with a 6-3 victory against Commack. It was a game that saw the boys put all their hard work and practice into action, as they executed their game plan flawlessly.
According to Coach Mike Catanzaro, "Everything the boys have practiced so hard for finally clicked." The Eagles' goals were scored by Joey Modica, Thomas Gill (who scored two), Richie Delcore, Austin Andreasi, and Paulie Tekverk. The team's game balls went to Luke Saikum and Jack Alfaro, who both had standout performances.
Luke Saikum was a beast on ground balls and displayed exceptional speed as he ran like a champ in midfield, providing support on both sides of the ball. Jack Alfaro, the team's goalie, made 7 saves, preventing several shots from entering the net.
